New School Record -
314 Pieces of Pi

At its May 6, 2008 meeting, the Board of Education recognized Jayson Tung, a Grade 6 student at Dr. Robert H. Brown Middle School. At the annual “Day of Pi” Celebration, Jayson memorized and recited 314 digits of Pi, to set a new school record. Jayson was also recognized as a Regional Student Leader of the Continental Math League.
